The course

From geometric intuition to learning systems.

CSE 6740 develops the foundations and practical tools needed to reason about machine learning and data analysis. We move from clustering and dimensionality reduction through statistical learning, neural networks, generative models, and reinforcement learning.

This permanent course site brings together lecture notes, examples, code, and references in one public resource. Each offering has its own schedule and preserved materials.
